Policy / Returns
Fourteen days, one exception, and the form you need.
Last updated 12 August 2026 · Governing law: England and Wales
The 14-day right to cancel
- The period runs for 14 calendar days beginning the day after you, or someone you nominate, takes physical possession of the goods.
- Where an order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from the day after the last parcel arrives.
- You do not have to give a reason and we will not ask you for one.
- Once you have told us you are cancelling, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly, before the 14 days are up, that you are cancelling. Any of these is enough:
- Email support@pajewelleryuk.shop with your order number and the words “I am cancelling”.
- Call +44 7528 455575, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30 UK time.
- Post the completed form below to P .A. JEWELLERY LIMITED, 23 Commonside, Walkley, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 1GD.
- Use the contact form and choose “Cancel an order” as the subject.
We will acknowledge your cancellation in writing without delay. Keep proof that you sent it — the deadline is met if you send your message before the period expires, even if it reaches us afterwards.
Model cancellation form
You do not have to use this form, but you may. Complete it and return it to us only if you wish to cancel the contract.

Who pays return postage
- You pay to send it back where you are cancelling under the 14-day right. We recommend a tracked, insured service — the articles are small and valuable, and until they reach us they are your risk.
- We pay where the article is faulty, not as described, or we sent the wrong thing. Contact us first and we will send a pre-paid label.
- We refund the standard outbound delivery charge you paid. If you chose a faster service than our standard one, we refund the standard rate only.
Refunds and timing
- We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you supplying evidence you have sent them, whichever is earlier.
- The refund goes to the same payment method you used. We do not issue credit notes in place of a refund.
- We refund the price of the goods plus the standard outbound delivery charge, less any deduction for handling as set out below.
- Your bank or card issuer may take a few further working days to show the money in your account. That part is outside our control.
Exception: engraved articles
Under regulation 28(1)(b) of the 2013 Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specification or clearly personalised.
An article you have had engraved cannot be returned under the 14-day right to cancel. We ask you to confirm you understand this twice before you can order one: once in a tick box on the product page before the article enters your bag, and once in its own section at checkout. Neither box is pre-ticked.
This exception applies only to the engraved article itself. Everything else in the same order remains cancellable in the ordinary way. And it does not affect your rights if the engraved article arrives faulty, is not as described, or the engraving does not match what you ordered — see below.
Faulty or misdescribed articles
Separately from the right to cancel, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- Within 30 days you may reject the goods and have a full refund.
- After 30 days and within six months you may ask for a repair or replacement; if that fails, a refund which may be reduced to reflect use.
- Up to six years from purchase you may still have a claim, though after six months it is for you to show the fault was present at delivery.
This applies to engraved articles too. Tell us at support@pajewelleryuk.shop with a photograph and we will arrange collection at our cost.
Condition of returned articles
You may handle the goods as you would in a shop — try a ring for size, work a cufflink mechanism, look at the marks. You may not wear an article out for an evening and then return it.
If the value of the goods is reduced by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct that reduction from your refund. Where we do, we will tell you the amount and the reason before we process it. In practice this means visible wear, scratching, or a missing box or fitting.
Return everything that came with the article, including the box and any care card.
Sending an article back
Post to: P .A. JEWELLERY LIMITED, 23 Commonside, Walkley, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 1GD.
Include your order number. Use a tracked service. For anything over £200 we strongly recommend insuring the parcel for its full value.
